A mini/balcony power plant is a small photovoltaic system consisting of a few solar modules and a small inverter. The electricity produced can be fed into the home grid via a power cable, e.g. via a socket. At home, the self-produced solar electricity is used instead of electricity from the public grid. Up to a certain size, these small power plants can be connected and operated without registration.
